Customer Testimonials
| Good Value comes from placing ad in PhoneGuide |
|---|
| As requested, I am putting into writing what good value I am finding the PhoneGuide to be for my business... Counselling, Training and Psychotherapy are not mainstream businesses but in keeping quite close tabs on where my contacts come from over the past three years this is what I find: Of all initial first contacts or telephone inquiries, 52% found me through the PhoneGuide,18% found me through Bell Yellow Pages and 30% found me by referral or an undetermined source (possibly the PhoneGuide) Of all paying clients which represent 41% of all first contacts or telephone inquiries,58% came from the PhoneGuide 19% came from Bell Yellow Pages, 23% came from referrals or an undetermined source (possibly the PhoneGuide) Features of the PhoneGuide such as postal codes, maps and the mini size are well known and documented but I thought you and your other clients would find the hard data above to be of interest. Thank you for providing such a valuable resource and I wish us all a successful year! | | By: Graham E. Hitchins M.A.Sc., Psychotherapist, Owner |

| Within Minutes I Found It In Your Book |
|---|
| I just had to write to say Thanks for a wonderful Phone Guide. I looked forever in the Bell Telephone Book to find Receiver General "Income Tax Office". I never did find it. Within minutes, I found it in your Book. It is great, also for finding the Postal Code Numbers so easy. | | By: Irene Rosiak |

| Pizza Delight Owner Delighted |

| To Whom This May Concern,
Two years ago Mike(McPherson) approached me to place an ad in the Phone Guide. After being impressed by the look of the Guide, I decided to place an ad. Mike suggested that I use my second, relatively unused "private" second line. His reasoning was that this would be a good way to gage the success of the ad.
Almost immediately after the PhoneGuide came out, we started receiving calls on our "private" line. By the second week we were receiving 40% of our orders for pizzas on this line.
It should be mentioned that we use many other means of advertising. Mainly direct national flyer mailing, as well as other publications. We also rent a roadside sign. All with our primary number listed.
After 4 weeks calls were still coming in, at about 30% on our private line. Which tells me, people looking in a Phone Directory for my service, were mainly looking in the PhoneGuide.
I would also like to mention that the salesperson, Mike McPherson, was a refreshing change from the sales norm. No high pressure. In fact suggested a smaller ad initially, to test the Guide's effectiveness. | | By: David Peters, Owner |

| Wellington County Here We Come |
|---|
| Dear Laura(Tucker, sales rep)
By listing our second line, we have been able to monitor the number of customers finding us through the PhoneGuide. We have been pleasantly surprised by the results and would like to be included in your new Wellington County edition. Keep up the good work! | | By: Nelson Murakami, Owner |

| Small PhoneGuides Perfect For People On The Go |
|---|
| Dear Mike(McPherson, sales rep)
I am very pleased by the response to your directory. While cleaning, I have seen many of your smaller sized PhoneGuides in vehicles. In speaking with my clients, they love the small book, as it's convenient for them to use with their cellular phones.
Keep up the good work! | | By: Ron Downs, C.E.O |

| Teacher Uses PhoneGuide As Source Of Information |
|---|
| Thanks very much for the copies of the PhoneGuide. Even with a cursory examination there are many educational materials which can be pulled from this guide which are not as easily found in other publications. For example; the time zone (map) formatting of small advertisements and the advantage of alphabetical listings to include postal codes.
Even before I have had a chance to use them other teachers have already "borrowed" two of the guides for their classrooms.
Thank you again for your quick response. | | By: Peter, Teacher |

| Security Company Monitors Calls |
|---|
| When you first Directory was produced in July, 1998, our company ran an ad using a different phone number, that we might determine the number of calls from your Directory.
I am happy to state that we received many calls, on that line which could only have come for your Directory.
We have used the same separate number in next years advertising that we may continue to measure the results of the PhoneGuide. | | By: G.E. "Ted" Moses, General Manager |

| Phone Ringing Off The Hook |
|---|
| I just wanted to send you a note to inform you how the PhoneGuide is helping promote my business. I have decided to enlarge my ad this year as we know from last year how well it works. My staff knew the exact day it hit the street because our phone started ringing off the hook. The reason that it is so great is July is normally slow season for us...not last year.
I am very happy with your input and ideas in helping me to develop my advertising campaign. In the past I have had nothing but frustration from advertising sales people, but I am pleased to say I will continue to advertise in your book as I like the response my business is getting. | | By: Joni, President |
